Tampon Help?! (First Time User)?
I've had my period for 3 years now and I have tried using tampons on various occasions. I'm going swimming tommorrow and would like to FINALLY get it right. I know all the tricks you can find on the internet, and none of them work. I can get it "sorta" in, but then it won't go any farther, so that when I push the applicator, just a little bit of the cotton sticks out. It isn't painful, but it's uncomfortable to walk around. And I KNOW that it's supposed to be very difficult to feel at all! Are there ANY tips you can give me that I probably havn't heard before (lube, pointing at lower back, twisting, etc.)?
MUCH APPRECIATED!!

I have used at least half of the current box of tampons I have...quite frustrating. :/
I know periods stop in water, unless the pressure is changed. And, what happens when my friend and I get out to just hang?
Also, cutting the end of a tampon that has an applicator is harder than one might think
I have used half the tampon box already trying!
To be honest, when you go in the water, the pressure from the water actually stops blood from flowing out, so if you don't get it right still, just don't use it. To use a tampon, it would be easier if you still have some blood left around it so the tampon will easily slip in, but I never preferred tampons myself. If there's a little bit of cotton still left outside, don't worry about it, it'll still work, it'll just be slightly uncomfortable.
If it really bothers you, take the current tampon out and try again.
