is my tattoo power supply any good in the u.s.a?
Ok, I bought a starter tattoo kit from over seas (china) and open it up, take out the machine and power supply etc... the power supply is a 10 dial 15v output. It only has a power switch. I hooked the clips to the machine and foot pedal and plugged in to a 110v regular output and the indicator light came on but the green uotput will not come on when I use the pedal. I took off cover an it says 220v on the converter. Now I plugged the footpedal into machine an vise versa and the light came on but the machine only got power when u touched the flexiable spring metal on the plugs together. But with no foot pedal control. So is this any good or is there a way to convert or should it already convert?? The manufactuer is of no. Help. Can any please explian what the prob may be? The supply says its a 110/220 but there is no switch like other supplys. So idk if this is converting or if its the pedal or what?
