Whether you already have a car or you’re just about to get one, it pays to get to know your car’s different parts. Don’t say that you don’t need to, you are not a mechanic, it’s not your job, so why bother? You may think it’s not necessary but it would be very useful if you have the idea which is which. Car parts are like computer parts that have hardware and software. In cars, hardware would refer to its superficial parts and the software would be the parts that are concerning the engine and your car system already. Every car owner, or driver for that matter, should somehow make an effort to know what they are driving as well as its parts. It’s just like learning the basics. Needless to say, part have many parts. If you are able to identify the external parts of your car, it can’t be said that you’re over killing it. Car panels come with carrying styles and uses. For an instance, there’s car part called rocker panel and it is placed between the two wheel wells. In the section between the rear door and the trunk, there lies the quarter panel. Grilles are usually placed at the front of vehicles. They protect the engine as well as the radiator. They serve as the passage of air to regulate the temperature inside. Car bumpers are the front-most or rear-most parts of a car. They are there to reduce the impact of a simple bump or even a collision so that the vehicle's safety systems safety can still be maintained.
There are other body components not mentioned but nevertheless worth knowing. External parts are the parts of the car we usually see and touch first before we can even get inside a car. And since they are at the open, it would not be hard to remember the name of each. So if you want to get the most out if your car, get to know it. Remember, your car is like your journey partner. So it is only fair that you know important things about it so you can take care of it well. And it will all start by familiarizing yourself with the parts of your car.
What are the chances a laptop repair store would carry parts for a HP track pad?
The left button of the track pad is broken and can't be out back on because the hinges connecting it are broken. I have thrown the pieces away, revealing the first layer of the inner workings; the silicon nipple and the metallic hinges. The plastic outer casing is broken and the internal plastic hinges are broken.
My Point: What are the chances a local computer repair store would have parts? Would they be able to repair it without opening the casing of the laptop?
The track pad is not difficult to get to. Normally the top lifts off and you can remove the keyboard and track pad. As for spares you will be lucky to find anyone with spares and if you can find someone then it will be expensive.
I would either look for a broken laptop of the same model going cheap on ebay for a spare or just plug in a USB mouse.
